About The Author
Sally Rosen Kindred teaches poetry writing on-line to high school
students through the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented
Youth.
She received a
2007 Individual Artist Award
in poetry from the Maryland State Arts Council.
She graduated from Duke University, where she held the
Margaret Rose Knight Sanford Scholarship in Creative Writing, and
she completed her MFA at the University of Maryland. Her poems have
appeared in
Poetry Northwest,
Spoon River Poetry Review,
The Florida Review,
Poet Lore,
Earth's Daughters,
Runes, and
Rhino.
She has work forthcoming in
Passages North and
Poetry Southeast.
